two wheels move the soul

Whether you have a motorcycle straight off the production line, a custom build or your very own shed creation, the paintwork can often be the make or break part of any bike. We have a vast knowledge in all areas of motorcycle paintwork, so if you are unsure on how you want the bike to look, you can always lean on our expertise to help you create the dream paintjob for your pride and joy.

When it comes to creating any unique paint, we put plenty of time and effort into it. Trying to get a sense of what might go into a paint job can seem a little intimidating, but as soon as you get an idea of what we put into every piece of work, you’ll see how we’re able to create the same high quality time and time again.

With every process we go through, we take a pretty meticulous approach to detail. We offer a strip and fit service to remove and re-fit the panels pre and post paint. We also offer a collection and delivery service, so get in touch to see if the collection address falls within our boundaries.

Before we begin any job, it’s good for us to get an idea of what you want your dream bike to become. The more inspiration you can give us, the better positioned we’ll be to put a figure on what’s involved with the various processes and what’s needed to turn that dream motorcycle into a reality.

Here’s some of the basics:

  • What model is your motorcycle, year of manufacture and condition of existing paintwork?
  • Has it previously had any paintwork done on it other than the factory paintwork?
  • What is the existing finish on your motorcycle, is it gloss, matt or soft feel?

Every bike is different and these basics will allow us to give you some more specifics on production times. At this stage, if you can supply us with any images of your bike it’ll help us make a quick assessment before we get stuck in.

Sports bikes

Sports bikes have come a long way in the last 8-10 years. They have gone from generally being a fuel tank, side panels, belly pan, seat unit, headlight cowl and front mudguard to now on some models 3 -5 separate parts make up what used to be one panel. Please give us a call to discuss your bespoke paintwork and we can give you a steer on costs once we have an understanding on your requirement’s.

Looking at the ball park prices, you might wonder how many colours do you get for each price range? Well, what may seem like a simple question can go far beyond that! The costs will always be based on how complicated your overall vision is. The more detail and complexity you go for, whether by details or colour options, the more hours we’ll put into it and this will always be reflective of the final price.

We like to compare it to having a tattoo done, the longer you’re in the chair the more it’s costs! The more detail you can give us for your dream motorcycle, the better. Let us know what you love and hate, what specifics or features you want including and what you want your motorcycle to finally to look like.

Every job we take on will always be quoted on how detailed your design is and, in most cases, will be fully quoted once we’ve got a full understanding of your requirements. Obviously no two projects will ever be the same!
